I just got a new student in my class and her name is : (Honest to God, I checked the CUM to make sure that was in fact on her birth certificate -- because surely parents can't be that.... Cruel? stupid? or ...? )!!!

That deserves a LOL. I guess we know her parents' favorite drink; or at least her Mom. It sounds like you have quite an "interesting" classroom.
Ok...first of all when I saw "I checked the CUM" my mind went COMPLETELY PORNO. Isn't that disgraceful?
Next...I don't even know what to say about the name. I feel bad for these kids. I picture the parent's smoking a big fat doobie and giggling when they decide on these names!

It reminds me of my all time favorite baby name (ha) I saw on one of those "what do you think of this name" sites I frequented when pregnant.....Paige Turner. Mean but unintentionally mean, the mom hadn't said the whole name together before posting. Hopfully she changed her mind on the name choice.

I love it! I swear when you are a teacher you find the weirdest things! Parents......seriously there should be a course before you are allowed to have kids.
Wow! That one might be the best ever. The best one I ever had was a girl names Cheney. But, the parents forgot to put a ` on her name. Because when I called for Cheney 4 times on the first day of school, finally a girl spoke up and said, "It's Sha-ney`" I wanted to say, then tell your parents they spelled it wrong!
