Scrap Day...

I haven't had a chance to work on my scrapbooks in a VERY long time... but today was my lucky day! After 3 hours of playing around with it at a friends house... I got exactly "0" - zip - zilch # of pages completed... but it was so fun! And we talked about all the worries of where to send our kids to school, and the all star team, and ... about how great Pioneer Woman's recipes are!

I'll eventually catch up with the boys' books... or not... but it was still a fun day!

And before anyone asks what the boys were doing... they were watching baseball with daddy, of course! And I figured I didn't need to see any game that one of my boys' wasn't actually playing in, because I've already been to 9 games this week, and sat through 5 practices!

So, maybe this summer I'll do a little more scrappin' ... and a little less yappin (or not).

I haven't done a page for 18 months. I can't wait to get back to scrapbooking. (I still collect supplies even though I haven't done a page in a 1 1/2 years.)

You are a step ahead of me -- my boys' albums are actually boxes (and for the littlest computer folders.

I have tagged you. Come read my blog to see the rules. Thanks

You had me at scrapbooking!!!

Even when we don't complete any pages... it is fun to just go chat it up with the girls. Glad you got some time away. Enjoy the rest of baseball season...I am right there with you!

You left the ? on my blog of do I have a book for each boy? Yes I do. About 8 years ago I went scrapbook crazy. I don't even want to think of how much money I have into it. It started with doing a time box in 2000 (which is in my garage someplace waiting for the year 2030) I scrapbooked the whole year and put it in this box to open the year my oldest turns 40. I have books and books on the boys sports. For many years we have taken family vacations with a sports team for a baseball world series, like going to Cooperstown at 12. What I don't like is it seems like it never ends. I think I like the projects that have endings.

I do seem to spend a lot of time organizing.

Do you like Pioneer Woman's new blog look? She changed it a couple of months ago. I guess I don't like change and have not been to her blog as much as I use to. She sure lives in a beautiful place.

Oh, you also asked if the boys keep track of who's game we go to. When the 3 older ones were small and all playing, yes they did. But now I really only have the 16 and 9year old playing it dosn't seem to matter.

The other day I read your post about boys and girls. For some reason I couldn't post a comment but wanted to tell you I have had the same problems in the past. I agree mom's of little girls really don't get boys. Their turn will come when they have teenage girls and all the problems and our boys are great. Boys seem to be more work with young.

OH...I like to scrapbook too. Unfortunately, I haven't done it since my youngest was still in utero. Sigh...maybe someday...! Thanks so much for your encouraging comment you left on my blog. I keep asking myself what the Lord could be teaching me- I sure hope I learn my lesson soon! =P

I'm so far behind with my scrapping. Kudos to you for staying caught up. I'm thinking about going to digital scrapbooking. No mess & storage... maybe that will help inspire me. Probably not... :) ~Jill

Scrappin & yappin sound like SO MUCH FUN!!! Wish I lived closer to you so I could join in on the fun....and maybe you could teach me how to scrapbook. I'd probably do more yappin than scrappin though....is that bad?
